Fender has decided to hand the money over to the Music Venues Trust, in appreciation of the crucial part local spots played in his beginning days.
"As an artist wouldn't be doing this success if it hadn't been for all the performances I performed around the area, and beyond, when I was starting out," said the artist. "These venues are iconic, but they are facing challenges."
Since the start of 2023, at least 150 of these venues have shut down – roughly 16% of the whole industry in the UK.
Recently, top acts including Pulp, Coldplay, the singer Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran have all supported the MVT in its attempts to help venues survive, by adding a small levy to their ticket prices, which goes to help local stages.
Sam Fender also participated, generating in excess of £100,000 on his 2024 arena tour to assist thirty-eight small stages across the UK.
These funds assisted spaces that were dealing with potential shutdown due to difficulties stemming from water damage, fires and family tragedies, as well as licensing issues, court cases and noise complaints.
Additional spaces received funding support in upgrading amenities and technical equipment that positively impacted musicians and concertgoers.
"The idea that revenue from performances in big venues supports the independent spots, where it begins for artists like me, is just common sense," the star has stated.
He is among several artists to contribute his honor prize money to charitable organizations.

Also 1994 winners they donated their prize to a multiple sclerosis charity after a acquaintance was identified with the illness.
"The victory was sufficient," remarked artist the singer. "The cash was the cherry on top but we didn't require the extra, because we had the cake. So our success touched the lives of others."
Last week, the trust announced it had protected several grassroots venues in that region, by placing them under community ownership.
The first in that area and the other in the city were acquired under the community ownership initiative, which is backed by the arts council and enthusiasts who acquire "shares" in the properties.
